Waradkar high school came into existence in 1926 with the much-needed vision, foresight and initiative of Dr Vithal Kanoji Waradkar, fondly addressed as Kakasaheb, a doctor by profession and social worker.

Govt approved school runs classes from 5th to 10th standard, 11th & 12th standard (joint and nonaided Arts faculty). Total 596 students have been enrolled in various classes. The school is staffed with 1 Headmaster, 13 teachers, 1 fulltime & 5 parttime lecturers for higher secondary school. And administrative staff to include 2 clerks and 2 peons.
